We all as humans are bound by a certain amount of frailty. With this being the case we need to ask ourselves the question, how much should I trust my instincts and feelings and how much should I allow for support of my imperfections?

This is an interesting line of thinking not least of all because we after all only able to see through our own eyes, through our own mental lens. So to have complete awareness of our weaknesses is impossible otherwise we would not need to overcome those weaknesses in the first place.

So might the answer come from medical alterations, improvements? Should we strive to improve ourselves beyond our current limitations by way of the mechanical and synthetic? If we choose to do so how will that change us?

I believe that we all need to admit that we are not able to perfectly react to everything, we can’t keep multiple strains of thought in our heads without swapping rapidly between jobs and we cannot be faultlessly selfless and kind.

If we take these realities to heart we can at least do the best that is possible within those restrictions and avoid situations that will reveal our weaknesses too much.

On the matter of human augmentation I don’t know about the morality of the matter but as long as we do not affect the rights of others I don’t see why we should not empower ourselves in ways that nature cannot. If we can live for hundreds of years with synthetic tissue, or grown organs then I can’t see that as a bad thing. That having been said if there is a lack of affordable private london hospital places available there might be some risks for those that cannot afford to maintain their augmentations.

We live in exciting times, I can’t wait to see where we end up in another 50 years or so.

What would be your response to the question “What do you wish for most?” Let me guess – more and better sex, increased wages, a better job, lower bills, good health, etc. You know what many people’s answer would be? Seven hours each night of continuous sleep.

A survey commissioned by the sleep organisation Sleepio was carried out in 2011. It was based on interviews with 11,129 adults and reported back that 51.3% had trouble sleeping, with women suffering the most at 75% in contrast to men at 25%. The report also detailed the negative impact insomnia had on relationships, work and general health.

Let’s take a known case study: Lisa is 28 years old and knows all about the struggles insomnia can provoke. For the last four years she’s had to make do with (on average) four hours a night. She goes to bed around 12.30am and wakes up around 4.30am, after which it’s an un-winnable struggle to return to the land of nod. She tosses and turns but nothing happens. Sheep counting? Tried it. Warm milk? Been there, done it. Herbal pills? Effect worn off. Eventually she was starting to have problems just getting to sleep which was the worst of all worlds. It was so bad she was starting to crave those 4 hours a night, as if that amount had been fully satisfying. It didn’t make it any easier for her knowing that many others in the UK suffer from the same condition.

Lisa went to her GP to talk about her early waking form of insomnia and they talked things over for about 10 minutes. Sleeping pills were mentioned but they both agreed that was kind of a last resort. She wanted to avoid them if at all possible, as eventually you have to wean yourself off them and you’re back where you started. She mentioned talking to a counsellor and a few other things but he then touched upon the subject of CBT. This acronym stands for Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, and according to her GP was one of the more successful ways of resolving insomnia. He booked her onto a group introductory session that was to be held at a nearby clinic, which would be followed by eight one-to-one sessions with a therapist at her GP’s surgery.

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy is fast becoming an effective way to train the mind and body into organised sleep patterns.

During the group session Lisa was introduced to the basics of CBT through a PowerPoint display and a booklet. A circular diagram showed the connectivity of the essential elements. There is the initial trigger, the thoughts you are having, your feelings, behaviour and physical symptoms. These can feed into one another creating an on-going cycle such Lisa’s insomnia.

The one-to-one sessions have involved her opening up to the therapist and revealing to them what’s been on her mind. By possibly pinpointing the sources (and levels) of stress she can perhaps resolve the visible symptom, i.e. the insomnia. Once the information has been teased out strategies can be devised to alleviate the problem. This can be done through muscle relaxation, thought balancing, exercising, etc.

Following Lisa’s efforts to adopt most of the elements of these techniques, she began to experience longer and more satisfying nights of sleep.

Quantum Physics is becoming quite a popular subject these days. We are starting to get an understanding of how it actually works. We understand now that everything is energy and everything vibrates and even the slightest tilt in vibration can shift our energies. Vibrational energy healing is yet another mystery that has been around since ancient times. However, it has become a lost art. Fortunately, it has been resurged over the past few decades.

Vibrational energy healing operates under the Universal Law of Resonance. By utilizing various vibrations (sound, color, etc), the body systems can become balanced and synchronized. Vibrational healing helps our system to turn from a weak resonance to a stronger, healthier one. Through the use of this type of energy healing, disease can be cured, depression can be turned to happiness and poverty can be turned to prosperity.
Using prosperity as an example, you can actually create wealth in your life using vibrational energy healing. It does not matter what type of business you are involved in. You can be selling Avon, promoting medical benefits or involved in the business opportunity: Enigin scam busters. Using vibrational energy healing can help you get in a vibrational resonance with wealth and abundance in any of these businesses.

Just as our bodies are energy, so are our thoughts. These thoughts of ours combined with emotion can actually influence the energy field of our body. Negative emotion found with worry, anger, fear, doubt, jealousy or guilt will block and stagnate energy. Positive emotion found in love, happiness, hope and abundance also influence our body’s energy field. Therefore, it is best to focus on positive energy work to get the results we are looking for. This can be hard at times, but the more you keep your focus on positive energies and use vibrational healing, the better your life will turn out.

Spending money anyhow is a very terrible habit that most of us are guilty of. We do not only have terrible shopping habits but we also buy things we cannot afford. Most of the people living in the United Kingdom are known to buy cars and other things that are well beyond their income level. A friend’s brother got a job that pays about £2,000 pounds a month. Within four months, he bought a BMW that costs close to £30,000. A friend’s friend who earns £1500 a month spent £1200 in buying expensive wines only for last Christmas celebrations. Finally, a recent survey shows that most of the people who use iPhone in Britain cannot really afford it. I just gave a load down of bad spending habits but the worst is that people have lost the saving habit.

Most people borrow money so often that when they finally get their monthly salaries, half of it goes to repaying debts. It’s almost like everyone wants to live glamorous lives like film stars and celebrities. People want to drive big cars like celebrities who most of the time hire Builders London because they can afford it. Until you start earning like them, do not spend like them. The old saying that cut your coat according to your size is the basic rule we all need to apply here. Don’t you think you will look smarter if your coat fits you appropriately? To cut you coat to your size, you have to reduce unnecessary shopping, cut borrowing, buy what you can afford and cultivate a saving habit. Do not spend like the stars until you start earning like them.

There are many people today who are looking for quick fixes to solve their problems in life. Much of the credit for this goes to the advancement in technology, which has made many of our day to day tasks a lot faster and has subsequently created a mentality to expect quick fixes for serious problems. However, life is a process, not a machine and everything happens gradually. Quick fixes are applicable only for software programs, machines and other non living things. When it comes to living things like us, fixing a problem efficiently will need addressing the root cause. Many times when people don’t find the quick fix they wanted, they start getting into some other problems, like depression and other related problems.

In the real world only an immature person would expect quick fixes, whereas a matured person will always try to find a long term or a permanent solution. Finding a permanent solution is time consuming. It mainly requires the understanding of the root of the problem. Once the root cause has been identified, then the solution for the problem can be found. Once the solution has been found, then starts the implementation process, which in most cases would be painful, at least initially.

A key factor to remember over here is that in most scenarios problems are also an outcome of a gradual faulty process. Many times these problem-creating processes are either due to ignorance or negligence. The company I work for is a Red Diesel Supplier. At work I have found that the people who run out of Red Diesel every month and require it urgently are the same. As a business we do not mind when people need our product, but I think it would be wise to always have some back up oil, so that you do not have an emergency situation. I believe this is a case of regular negligence and I am sure these people would also have problems planning other important things in their lives. While we always try to satisfy our customers'needs, it is quite possible to face delays at times and this is when the negligence to keep ‘back up oil'can lead to a ‘no oil'situation, especially when there is no quick fix of ‘quick oil supply’.

Life is full of surprises, we all know that. One moment you can be walking along the street feeling positive and happy – like nothing can ever go wrong – and the next you’re holed-up in some dark corridor of the local hospital, awaiting X-Rays on your poor swollen knee.

The point is that that is life, of course, and there is little we can do to avoid such trauma, bar trust in our instincts and natural intuition.

Something like a Cancer Mis Diagnosis claim , however, can really put things into perspective. A sudden reminder of how vulnerable we all are to illness and troubling life events, this kind of claim is made even worse after having to go through the hell of living – and hopefully recovering from – the dreaded big C.

The conclusion may well be that CBT is not right for you, or, alternatively, you may well end up being referred to a specialist…

The good news, of course, is that there are numerous companies out there who can help you make a claim. They’ll remove the obstacles and make life so much easier. The issue is, though, that often even winning a claim such as this doesn’t allow a person to move on with his or her life. The sad truth of it is that much of the sadness and worry prevails, even when the odds seem nothing less than stacked in your favour.

CBT – or Cognitive Behavioural Therapy – is designed to tackle the kind of debilitating persistent thoughts which won’t leave the person alone and doggedly insist on being present at all times. Now considered probably the number 1 therapy in the battle against depression, anxiety and many obsessive disorders, it is a therapy which has grown from a small belief into a widely reputed method of treatment.

Not sure where to get help? Anyone who is concerned and would like to talk through the idea of counselling with someone is advised to contact their GP. Although by their very nature a doctor of General things, you’ll likely be pleasantly surprised with how much they know and what they recommend. The conclusion may well be that CBT is not right for you, or, alternatively, you may well end up being referred to a specialist.

The issue with the NHS is time, of course. That means a wait for many people. But if you would rather not wait and can afford to do so, you should feel free to do this privately. After all, this is your mental health we’re talking about here. It really is no laughing matter.

More than the people who do not smoke, I think people who smoke are the ones who see the words ‘Smoking is injurious to health’. This is especially true since it has been mandatory to put these words on a cigarette box. The question however is that how does it help? It’s not that people who smoke do not know that it’s going to spoil their health or that it’s going to make their lives shorter. They know it. I think people are more careful not to spoil their flooring while smoking inside the house then they are of their lungs.

Physical health is not a priority for people who smoke. I am mostly talking of adults who smoke, those who are able to decide right or wrong for themselves. For these people mental health is the priority, and that happens to be the immediate need. The society that we live in today is full of stress. The worst in this is the stress that comes due to totally absurd and unrealistic expectations of people from a person. Therefore smoking is used as a stress buster, not just at the cost of some money, but also at the cost of one’s own life. This in fact shows the extent a person is ready to go, just to get rid of stress.

Addiction is a reality, but it can be broken if stress could be controlled. If you are really willing to get rid of smoking, then you need to find an alternate method for stress busting. I would not say that one should avoid stress, as I know that it’s impossible, but I am sure anyone can find a better way of stress busting. It might be slightly costlier, but it will never be as expensive as your life.

Procrastination is a behaviour in which a person would always postpone the things that needs to be done now. If a person prioritizes the low priority activities over the important ones then it would mean procrastination, and if it is done on a regular basis then it becomes behaviour. Many people think that the reason for procrastination is laziness, but that is not true. Procrastination can be the result of many things.

One of the major reasons of procrastination is the fear to do something wrong. Many of us tend to cultivate this kind of feeling in us. We want to do everything right, which is a very good attitude. But this attitude can be bad if it starts stopping you from doing what you need to do.

Second reason is what if the decision I take is wrong. This is much like the earlier one where the person does not believe in himself, he or she is not confident about personal decision making capability. This can be due to previous failures in decision making.

The third major reason is the fear of failure. This is a very regular feature with people who procrastinate, and personally I feel is a very common on. This is something I have experienced in my personal life. I had to claim for industrial compensation from the HMRC in UK. I was extremely scared what if my claim is denied and then what will I do. Thoughts of failure hit me very bad. But somehow when I finally applied, I found how helpful they were and the whole process was not even time consuming.

Procrastination has the capability to stop people, who could have been otherwise very successful people in life. If you are addicted to procrastination, then you have to understand that you must do what you have to do. If you don’t do it, it will remain undone and you will never know what lies behind the curtain, and it will in many cases stop your progress in life. Procrastination is a sure shot failure but if you are willing to take an action, then you will at least give yourself a 50% chance of winning.

The science of life should never ignore the fact that much of it is beyond the control of those living it. Take the example of a baby who is born in a public hospital today. The baby will be born in a world where its photograph can be splashed on social networking websites in a span of a few seconds. The entire process of birth of the child can be recorded and uploaded online.

Relatives from all over the world can view the images and videos and post their comments. Exchange of information will take place in a span of a few milliseconds. Does the baby have any control over any of this? Absolutely not. If you remove the baby and place an adult in this position, we will have to conclude that the person still will not have any choice. Perhaps this is the reason why there is so much stress in the world.

There is very little in our life that we can claim as ours. Bulk of it is a shared with our family members and the remaining is spread amongst all friends and relatives. Of course, this is a symbiotic process as we too have a stake in the lives of others. One has the option of criticizing this and staying put.

Or, one has the option of accepting that one’s decision to go in for a painting holiday will be discussed all over the world. One can simply shrug off the issue and continue to live life as one deems fit. That is the only way to retain control and have the option of making a choice.

One of the most difficult diseases to diagnose is depression. It differs from person to person in various ways. For instance some people who struggle with depression tend to withdraw, where as others become cranky. Some people sleep and eat a lot, while for others it is the reverse. Depressed individuals go through many medical disorders. Mostly they go through an upset stomach. Others'symptoms of depression are loss of interest in anything they do, a sense of hopelessness, too moody, too much fatigue and even with slight provocation they end up crying. A depressed person is mostly irritated and easily becomes restless. Many of them have at least two to five of these symptoms for minimum of two weeks to a month. For some, depending on the severity, the symptoms can even prolong into years. One of my friends who always used to be depressed, whom I met while working with Cleaning Service Surrey always had a tendency to blame others and always thought that he was perfect. He did not think that he had a disorder and thus he did not seek medical attention. Many depressed people go through wrong perceptions and seeking help would pinch their ego. They tend to be very secretive, spending most of the time in loneliness. In the long run this downward syndrome may lead them to death if they do not seek any medical attention. Some may even take the extreme decision of committing suicide, not thinking how this drastic tragedy will affect their loved ones.

In United States alone more than twenty percentage of people go through depression at some point of their lives. Many end their lives as a result of this diagnosable mental disorder. Most of them indulge themselves in drugs and alcohol just to escape from their sorrows. The good news is that even the severe types of depression could be healed with the help of proper treatment and therapy.
